Starting "Puhzlur"

I’ve only posted about our daily Mensa Puzzle Calendar habit at work a few times on my personal blog, but I get a bunch of traffic each day from related queries.

In the interest of giving the peeps what they want, I’m gonna try to get something going related to puzzles. This may be a discussion about HOW to get a solution for the Mensa Puzzle Calendar, a related puzzle or simply some random puzzle I have on hand.

On Jan 24, 2005 there are two answers. There could be five boys and two girls as well as six boys and three girls. Am I missing something?

On February 3, there are six words that can be made from the letters TSIED. The missing one is "stied"
