Syndication into LiveJournal

I finally got the LJCrossPost MovableType plugin working just fine. Hopefully this means that my posts should automagically move from my Primary blog on my personal site to my LiveJournal blog. This should make things a bit easier for LiveJournal users to keep up on my blog.

Some weird things:

It seems that everytime I rebuild my local site it marks all of the posts as “Backdated” on LiveJournal, which means they won’t show up in Friends pages. Not quite sure what to do about that, yet, other than remembering to clear the flag. Luckily, I rarely rebuild my local site, so this shouldn’t be much of a problem.

Also, all of the posts on LiveJournal are set to public. This isn’t much of a problem, all things considered, since you could just read the entries on my website anyways. It does make crossposting entries from my Private blog a bit difficult, tho, since I can’t control who can see ‘em.
